Is there anything on the internet that isn’t true?!?

I love the internet – I find it fascinating. In fact through guru.com I am starting to pick up extra video work since Christina will be staying home when Cash is born. It is an amazing website and if you are looking to freelance you should try it out. My day has been wasting away. We are having DIRECT TV installed here at the church today and it is taking FOREVER!!!! It’s just a hassle with a big building and a lot of receivers. Anyway, we have small group tonight and I am looking forward to that. I am kind of in a writers block. I have to shoot a short this week, but the problem is I have to write it first, and this week has been uber-busy, so I haven’t had a good period of time to chill and get my head straight.

I am however listening to the new New Found Glory CD and it is awesome! More on that later, but another thing I love about the internet is the great articles. Here are a few I have found the past couple of days:

Someone Tries to Sell Belgium on Ebay
New Seattle Trolly Line Has Acronym SLUT
Nebraska State Senator Sues God

That last one I sent out to the staff yesterday and my good friend Josh gets first prize for best reply:

I hope he wins. That’ll really put the screws to God to be much nicer and less demanding. Hehe

Great stuff. Peace out . . . .

You may believe you’ve heard this statistic before, but you haven’t: For the first time, personal wealth — not income — has been measured around the world. The findings may be surprising, for what makes people “wealthy” across the world spectrum is a relatively low bar.

The research indicates that assets of just $2,200 per adult place a household in the top half of the world’s wealthiest. To be among the richest 10% of adults in the world, just $61,000 in assets is needed. If you have more than $500,000, you’re part of the richest 1%, the United Nations study says. Indeed, 37 million people now belong in that category. [Read entire article . . .]
